I found three messages in the first act, four in the second act, and three in the third act, yet I haven't been credited with the trophy, is it bugged or do I have to find EXACTLY three per act?
Possible glitch with the Archaeologist trophy?

I found 4 in the first, 3 in the second and 3 in the 3rd Act before it popped. So it should have popped for yourself.

There's technically four in each of the three acts. You only need to pick up three in each act for it to pop. I don't know if it glitched for you or if miscounted between acts. You might have picked up four in one act and only two in another.
I had it pop up as well. Picked up three in Act I, four in Act II, and then four in Act III. I had my trophy pop up on the third message in Act III.
