I assumed as soon as I picked it up it would be a gift or something since it was found on the merc's body. But you never get an option - even if you equip it to him he doesnt notice lol. Anyone else wondered why?

I equip him with it too, though on the run where I actually complete the rivalry romance with him I'll have my character wear it. The friendship romance is a joke.

Megan is his mother, I believe? Never the less, its just a named item, and not a gift. The bow is the gift. ;p

Kind of odd really, as the locket would probably mean more to him than the bow, but that's how it is I guess. Same sort of thing happened in Origins where you could give Leli the blue shoes with all the beads on it, something she absolutely loves, but you get nothing out of her besides the standard thank you.

Durrr I know the bow was the gift but it seems like the locket could've been a perfect gift too
