Just finished the game yesterday. Male Hawke, Mage, Romanced Merrill, Sided with Mages.
Besides the few bugged quests I know I didn't finish I'm curious about two things:
1) Is there a scene were Hawke actually does the blood smear across his nose? I know its in the intro, but at the end of my game Hawke is just his scruffy looking self.
2) In the trailers there's some scene where Hawke runs out of a burning building and has some big kiss with Isabella. I figured that was with any LI but is it just with Isabella? If so when does that happen?
Just curious if I missed something, if these are bugs (so I can report them), of just stuff that was used in the trailers and what not but not actually in game.
Did I miss something?

A third thing:
I helped Zevran in Act 3 but he didn't show up at the final battle. Is there a specific dialog option to get this?

I figured the trailer would have some cut scenes or options I simply didn't take. I just wasn't a 100% sure it wasn't a bug.
I feel silly about the blood smear thing now! I thought it was something earned in the game, or perhaps one of Varric's embellishments to the story.
Really? Because I had Carver and Cullen help, and then as each phase went through Fenris, then Isabella, then Anders showed up. Happened both times I played the ending. Actually the second time I had Fenris in my party, So Isabella showed up first, then followed by Merrill and Anders.Maria Caliban wrote...

Your companions will show up in your battle. The NPCs that show up are random. I know Zevran and Donnic are possibilities.
