It should be done as it was in the last two games. That means a few will be bi, and my femshep will be happy. :)

If it was done like it was in the last two games no one will be bi (the way I think it should be).

Kelly was bi as far as I'm concerned. And don't even get me started on Asari sexuality.

I don't think Kelly counts as a romance. Only Liara will be bi (I'm not really into the whole "monogendered" thing)

If it's anything like it was in ME2, trying to be friends with a male squadmate will force them to try and romance me, or vice versa. It's bad enough I lose dialogue and make Jack pissed at me for just trying to be buddies.

For this to work, please rework the conversation wheel to make it so it separates trying to be friends with trying to boink them.

Also, I agree with those saying to add this with new characters. It will feel strange knowing that the preferences of existing characters has been switched around in such a short amount of time.

First off all to the people who say being bi ruing wrex's character: Being bi is just being attracted to both sexes. It has nothing to do with how you act.....

Secondly I agree with this. Unless new characters are added I don't want old ones to suddenly be bi!

If any of the characters are Bi it would be Jack. Just from the comments between her and Shepard, it seemed to me she has been with both male and female. Probably at the same time too.

I just don't see them changing the sexuality of a character now.

I am curious though, where did this thought come? Some rumor?

This.
It would be kinda weird to see Garrus wanting to do some "calibrations" to a male character.

Or better still, test his reach and flexibility.:innocent:

I didn't want Tali to suddenly turn into a Shepard Fangirl.

Look what happened!

Either you deal with it or you stop buying Bioware games because LIs that could go eitherway in DA2 was cheap, effective, and very popular. Since this is Bioware they will take what they learn and apply it to future titles if they haven't already done so already.

DA2 isn't good. You have seen the hate, right?

DA2 isn't awful. It's got its own charms.

But the romances (my opinion) aren't that good.

Hmm, I can only somewhat agree with you. I generally like who they give you as LIs, but I wish there was a little more to it. 10 years is a long time for the whole thing to play out.

DA2 isn't horrible, but if you ask me the romances could have been better.

I see a lot of 7-8/10s.

A little OT, but DA2 was by NO means good. Especially by Bioware`s standards.

By Bioware's standards, DA2 isn't really good.

Plotwise, DA2 seems to beat out ME2 by a long way. I'm not sure about gameplay yet, though.

I played it, and no, the plot isn't THAT much better than ME2 (actually, DA2's story was a bit meh for me)

But to be on topic, Bioware just randomly making everyone bi is kinda lame.

How far are you in the game? I ask this because to me it felt like DA2 had no story. Sure ME2 had a weak, irrelevent story compared to the first one, but at least it was coherent throughout the game. DA2 felt like I was just doing random stuff for no reason the entire time.

DA2 is not a bad game, in fact its a lot of fun it has some great moments and while its much darker and less heroic then ME games (not to mention it kinda fails as a sequel IMO - it fairs much better if you view it as a stand alone game) - its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. however

I feel that relationships, specifically shifting sexualities were handled clumsily for half the characters. a lot of the things were just waved away, familiar characters were outright rewritten and barely recognizable (but hey - now they evoke stronger emotions in more people, so who cares what minority who liked them just as they were thinks), characters getting annoyed with you just for saying: "I don't think of you that way" when they hit on you out of the blue was very much a "huh" moment, and the fact that you don't get some of the same information when romancing characters based on your hawke's gender worries me. it makes characters inconsistent, it makes me not want to experiment with various relationships and multiple playthroughs. but for others - its perfect because they can pretend that their SIMS are theirs alone :/

and this plus changes to Liara (that ALSO made her more popular, even if she suddenly did a complete 180 in terms of her attitude and general personality) makes me think that character rewrites WILL happen. whether it will also involve sexuality, I don't know. it might - it would after all be the most expedient solution, especially when you can just wave away any prior precedent by simply saying "I just didn't tell you before" to the select hopeful few.

but I really doubt that returning characters will have enough in common with their portrayal in previous games, especially ME1 characters. I hope I'm wrong. I would really hate to see this happen. but I'm fairly sure that its too late to change anything now, whatever it may be.

I agree with the notion that, if a MaleShep were bisexual, he probably should've been bisexual since the beginning.

Aside from that, I really have no opinion on the matter. Image IPB

As for this discussion, I think we can agree that changing any of the current characters in such a way would be stupid.

I beat DA2. Then I took it back to Gamestop for refund (which I didn't get, I only got like $20 for it)
