Now who's throwin' around the T word? Just my humorous way of pointing out that "I think I remember something about something" is in no way an effective way to support one's stance on a particular issue.

I do find it interesting to read the different takes on the characters from different perspectives.

For some reason Bi Garrus feels wrong to me, but Bi Thane doesn't. I also find it interesting that a lot of people think Bi Jack makes sense, whereas that doesn't resonate with me at all.

I think of Garrus, Liara, Kaidan, Ash, Miranda, Jack, and Mordin as having pretty firmly established sexualities. Of all of those characters, I'd find it most jarring if Mordin were suddenly romanceable, as he has stated firmly that his race generally has no interest in romance, and that he's not interested in other species at all anyway, and that he wishes they would ALL STOP HITTING ON HIM. Which I actually really liked. At PAX there was a discussion about gender and romance in games like this, and everyone agreed that everything would be much simpler if you could just ask any character and get a straight answer about their sexuality

Clearly they were worried about the ship going the way of Sodom & Gomorroh if that happened, which is far worse. And no they didn't actually read Sodom & Gomorroh, they just need to be told what it was about rather than read a small passage of script, and making their own interpretations.

tbf they didn't NEED to have sexual intercourse to have an intimate relationship... although it basically is implied with Garrus and Tali anyway so...

Actually that would be pretty interesting, to have an alien you just couldn't sleep with but could still have as a LI.

I listened to all his little talks, and Mordin actually seems less a lot less concerned about Garrus than he is about Tali. Also, I got the feeling that "So do not... ahem... ingest" was a very specific joke.

And doing this to certain characters wouldn't be character development either. If say Miranda's obsession with her fertility is dropped after some conversation, would she not possibly open up towards FemShep?
