...not sure how many others have this issue but I'm basically not going to play the game anymore for a
while...the game keeps freezing on load screens...can't alt-tab out or ctrl-alt-del...screen just goes black and completely freezes my computer. It happens usually after a few loading screens have happened...I have to power my computer down manually and don't want to f it up.  I don't have this issue witih any of my other games like ME2, DA:O, CoD series, LFD1&2 etc run them all on 1920 x 1080 maxed out.

This is the signature edition disc version with 1.01 applied...I don't have any other isses besides this and the mouse pointer lag issue.

Main Specs:

-i5 750
-Powercolor HD5770 1 GB with 11.4 beta driver and DX11
-8 GB Ram
-Win7 64 bit

I can get my DxDiag info later tonight...but my friend with a very similar setup with XFX HD5770 and digital version doesn't encounter any of these issues.

I was going to reply on the other thread you linked me, but then I saw you started your own thread -and since you have the same card as me, here's what I found/did

http://www.tomshardw...zes-colors-card
about 3/4's down the page there's back to posts by air_richter followed by surda.
in short:
"start ati overdrive and unlock it, create a new profile name it whatever you want but make sure that you check ati overdrive. then go to:
c: /users/"username"/appdata/local/ati/ace/profile/"your profile name" You must have 'show hidden files checked' to get there.  rightclick edit, and change numbers"

here's what my profile looks like right now, again, your numbers may need to be different but this is what works on my pc. I bolded the numbers that differ for me, the post I believe lists what the defaults are and what they listed. I hope this helps!

Thank you, I'll check it out tonight, I didn't even turn my PC on yesterday.

Sucks we have to jump through all these hoops for this game to work right...this is the first time I've had issues like this with a game.

Well it seems the problems kept getting worse and worse, the game kept crashing couldn't even get passed loading of my game...I decided to try and uninstall the whole game (kept saves) uninstalled driver and loaded 11.2 back up...I reinstalled the game and with my fingers crossed things to be running smoothly now...I played for about an hour after I installed it, went to a bunch of different areas, spammed the loading screen seem to be fast and smooth. I hope that's it because I didn't want to have to go in and start messing with files.
