I killed Jeven but he didn't have the Deflecting Joints - Guardsman Pattern companion upgrade for Aveline. Tryed this twice but had same results. Where can I get this final upgrade for Aveline? Is this a bug in the game?

I've heard it's a bug. Haven't gotten the upgrade either.
