My account was just banned on the BioWare Social Network. I'm not sure if it's temporary or permenant, but I already know why. I was talking to a moderator seconds before the ban and he expressed some concerns over how I completely and utterly trolled, as you can see in this topic: http://social.biowar...3/index/6700779

I've been here a while and am very well respected in the community, save for perhaps one member who I really pissed off, and of course the moderator (Pacifen). I'm not sure the thread itself is why I was banned, since the mod was just letting me off with a warning. I then kind of didn't show him respect, and I made the whole thing out to be a joke as I messaged him saying that "trolling is an art, and that if done properly, is akin to a composer writing a beautiful symphony" he didn't like that, not one bit. And he banned me for it.

In retrospect, I could have handled that situation a lot better, I didn't think he was going to do anything. But that's no excuse, I shouldn't have acted out like that in the forum to begin with. I don't know what I was thinking. Could you please unban me, or atleast shorten the ban to a couple of hours (or a few days) or something? I won't do it again, you can even ask another user (Ramirez Wolfen) who I discussed trolling with, and I told him that I was going to stop now and just be a productive member like I was when I first joined.

I think you're banned temporarily. I don't think you did anything that would constitute a permanent one. And sorry to say, they aren't going to shorten your ban. Try asking a moderator how long you are banned.

You're probably right. But still, what if...

The Flood was here. That sucks that it happened to you, but it's probably just a temporary ban, just wait it out or create a new account and PM a moderator. Good luck getting your account back, but what do you expect the Flood to do about it?

Hey moderators if you are reading this thread, I would like to tell you something.

DinoCrisisFan isn't a bad guy, he just made a mistake, which he is sorry about. He's a good forum member who's apologizing for what he's done and is promising to do better. I've made mistakes myself. He's saying that he wants to be a productive member of this online community like he was before and not make troll threads in the future. He's a good friend of mine and I know he can be trusted.

In the future, if you have an issue with a moderator's actions, send the moderator a PM. If you don't want to discuss it with the moderator, you can send a PM to the community manager Chris Priestly.
