Adored romancing Isabela. When i get round to my next playthrough i'll probably go down that route again as i struggle to feel anything beyond frustrated sympathy for the naive Merrill.
Totally agree

Hardly, wouldn't even call it closer - for one she was never that pale in DA:O.

I see more of a hybrid of Isabela and Bethany from DA2 (because of the Bethany hairstyle I guess) than anything close to the Isabela from Origins. Besides that, the skin texture is more pale than in Origins. Maybe we can call her Isabeth.

Personally I always hated that leather collar, that isn't even followin the neck ~ bloody aweful armour design on the leather armour.
And can't say that I ever found the old Isabela attractive visually, partly due to the horrid leather, and the old ugly hair (Both the mod hair in the image, and the vanilla hair in DA2 are better, btw the hair from DA:O is still in, but I guess the modder just found it too ugly to use, something I'd agree with).
The old Isabela also had the bloated lips of DA:O, and the hollowed out cheeks ~ oh man I was happily using the Dracormies Redesign project, and many other lore friendly mods to fix some of the horros in DA:O .
Also the Hangedmans pub light is darker and more red than the perl, and should be shown to display how pale this Isabela is, which isn't lore friendly at all given that she is from Rivani and is a captain to boot (sailors are darker due to all the exposure to sun).

she is also a free spirit kinda girl and that 's why some people hate her. because they are probably dull, boring and sexually repressed irl.

Thanks - It mirrors my opinion about Isabela, from the negative view I had when I first saw the promotional shots and trailers - to how I totally changed my mind about her mid way through my first run of the game.

Isabela only has bigger breasts
NO...clearly you missed the meaning behind Isabella....BEST character by far. She was able to actually BRING your companions closer together through conversation and her actions. She was the BEST!
And, Morrigan being, "hard to conquer"...doesn't make her better. She didn't really show any flexibility at all...maybe when you pusued the romance she would frown and say..".I can't"....and then she willingly performs the ritual...yadda yadda...everyone hated her a bit...etc.
With Isabella...you were told her story....see her actions develop from beginning to end...see her care for people, and fight others....see her in a rivalry with Aveline, but friends in the end...see her take care of Merril and watch out for her...calling her "Kitten" throughout the game. Watch her joke with Varric...
The list goes on and on...Isabella is THE BEST character so far in the DA Universe

About rich I agree. But you CAN be too feminist.
I truly detest them. Feminists are the best argument in favour of oppressing women and against women rights in this world, and I have an instant dislike towards anything that makes intolerant douchebags seem right.

As a feminist, all I can say is this: You are totally not invited to my Christmas party this year, and don't expect a card in the mail either.Tirigon wrote...

Eh, sorry to hear this. Still, it offers me a good chance to question one of you: Why are you like that? Is there a reason to want to oppress men instead of stand for equality?Maria Caliban wrote...

I don´t get feminists any more than I understand people who oppress women. They´re basically the same only with a different reproduction organ.........

The funniest thing is that on Dragon Age Nexus, the fifth most endorsed mod for DA2 is a mod called Isabela Pants and Shorts.
It seems that her character designer failed quite a bit with the panty flashing bit...
Second most downloaded mod instead give her white skin

As a male and a feminist I would never say there is a good argument for oppressing women etc. That being said I do think you can be too "insert anything here". It's called fanaticism/extremeism to which I am greatly opposed.Tirigon wrote...
