Hey guys, sorry for creating a thread that will end up on the pile of other friendship bug threads, but I really need to ask some questions. Here is what I know:

At 50+ friendship, you will receive friendship bonuses from Isabela/Sebastian
Areas that force Isabela/Sebastian out will result in the bug
Saving with the bug and loading will cause it to be permanent

So here are my questions.

If Isabela/Sebastian were forced out of my party such as in Isabela's personal quest or going home, what are the steps to prevent it?
Does adding Isabela/Sebastian to the party straight after without saving in between prevent the bug?
