so im pretty spoiler free and trying my best to keep it that way

in my playthru Bethany died at the deep roads

now i find out there's 3 choices..

-bethany dies
-she becomes a gray warden
-she joins the circle

my question to people.. what choices/options do i need to make to get her to the gray wardens? or is this only possible to people who have loaded a DA:O save?

Take both Anders and Bethany to the Deep Roads.

You need to have her and Anders in the Deep Roads expedition so he can show you to the Wardens who are down there and have them take her through the joining.

thank you guys so much such a simple fix, lol

i do have a save right before the expidition so i can experience both the circle and the gray warden one

i have a huge crush on Bethany so i'd rather see her be a Gray Warden

She seems to like the Circle better, although I haven't actually finished my Grey Warden Bethany playthrough yet. But ... when you run into her as a Grey Warden the first time she's um. Abrupt with you.

On the one hand, she's initially happier in the Circle. (So I hear. Haven't actually played that possibility yet.) On the other, without being too spoilery, given the game's ending she ... may not be so happy there in future.

She may not be pleased about joining, but I bet she's a great Warden.

Like most decisions in DA2, she's screwed either way.

My only play through with her she became a circle mage. I wanted to slap/fight/duel Cullen the entire rest of the game. My mage was fine with him. My rogue wanted to wear his eyeballs on a necklace.

According to Family letter we get at the beginning of Act II, Bethany prefers the Circle. She resents Hawke and has sort of angry face whenever she meets Hawke after becoming a warden. Carver, in the other hand, prefers to be a warden.

Well...that's not true. Carver was kinda urked at the fact that he became a grey warden. He only warmed up to the idea more later on in the game. Carver volunteerily joins the Templars and therefore, was ok with that choice
