It's amazing to me how many of these bugs made it through testing. Christ they could have held an open Beta and had the beta testing done for free (don't know if they did) and the majority of these bugs would have been found by the community in a matter of days.
Either their testers are just bad at their jobs or EA pressured them into releasing the game before it was ready and ignored the bug reports from the testers. How is it possible to miss the combat bug where after you get hit by a ranged attack of any kind your character freezes in place? I can recreate this bug all the time. I like Bioware, I just wish they'd act a bit more like Blizzard. Yeah Blizz makes you wait years for a game (Diablo 3, Starcraft 2) but when they do release them.. they're solid largely bug free games. I have no problems waiting that long if I get a polished game out of the deal.
Honestly, people on this forum found bugs within the first day of release. Wake up Bioware.
You're assuming they missed the bugs vs. choosing to ship with them to hit their date. Unfortunately I'm not so sure that's a safe assumption in all cases.
