Ok so most people probably already know how to do this. So for some mods I can open and download it and then a window would pop up and let me play it on dragon age (origins) but for other mods it wouldnt work... How do i "unpack"? and how do I make it so i can use the consol commands?

If I'm understanding the problem correctly, you have to put the mod in the correct folder. I've listed them below.

DA:O -
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

DA2 -
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override

Also I'm pretty sure you can't use a DA:O mod for DA2. (Hive, please holler if I'm wrong.) If there's a DA:O mod you want for DA2, you could contact the developer and say pretty please, I guess. Although I'm sure they're already on it and/or pacing until the toolset is out...

Hope that helps.

I put the "all weapons evolve" mod in the 'override' folder, and I think that it must have worked, since the stat requirements for items keeps going up as I gain levels. It's kind of a pain, since I can never equip myself with new weapons and armor. In fact, if I ever took un-equipped anything that Hawke is wearing or using, I probably wouldn't be able to re-equip it.
