Varathorn from the Dalish camp refuses to barter with me because I took something of his... I don't have a recent save from before then either, is there a way to change his mind?
Varathorn won't trade with me, can I fix this?

Do good things for the Elves, maybe he will change his mind. I never encountered this problem so I can't confirm it will or not, but the Elvish Camp does keep track of your reputation with them. Doing Good Quest will change some of their reactions.

That happened to me from pickpocketing too much in the camp. After I finished the werewolf quest he started selling to me again.

I had the same thing happen, after I finished the werewolf quest he had no more problems with me. I guess if you wipe out all the elves though that's probably not the case so maybe don't do that. The guy sells unlimited Elfroots. I'm naming one of my kids after him for that.

This thing with pickpocketing is a bit unrealistic. If they know, they should attack. If they don't, they should not react on it.

Riiight, they should commit suicide by attacking a group of heavily armed individuals one of whom is stealing from them. I think not. The 'I won't do business with you anymore' approach is the most reasonable one, it is far better than the crazy 'commoner attacks group of heavily armed adventurers who can dispatch him without a second thought' response.shardator wrote...

I hated it in Baldur's Gate when you'd pickpocket one guy, he'd notice, and the entire tavern would go hostile on you. I think this method's a lot better, actually.
Less annoying, certainly.

Not to mention that you have a lot less commoner blood on your hands. It has interesting side effects in Denerim too.Arduine wrote...
