1. Rogues are apparently the most deadly class in the game. I've played all three and Rogues kill enemies the fastest. Having Dexterity determine both Atk and Crit and having Cunning high paired with faster and more strikes equals lots of damage very fast.

2. There should be an option to smash that witch Meredith after she petrifies.

3. She also copies Zack Fair from the Final Fantasy VII series the way she puts her big sword to her forehead. And copies Cornello from Full Metal Alchemist by bringing statues to life with a magical red object. :P

4. The ending song in Origins was better than the one in DAII. This Is War was not only epic, but it pretty much embodied what Origins was. DAII's ending theme, whatever its called, is nice tho.

5. The real threats in this game are Meredith and Orsino, I've sided with Mages twice and Templars once, and they are both stupid and crazy.

6. Bethany should always be the sibling who lives. Carver is just an plain ass.

7. There should be a way for players to pre-build their own DAO histories without having to do a long playthrough of Origins/Awakening/Golems/Witch Hunt.

8. David Gaider should have given himself a personal cameo in the game as The Maker. (Okay this one is mainly for laughs but in a way it is true)

Overall tho, good game. :P

Rogues are adept at killing individual opponents, but unlike warriors, they don't have many ways to damage multiple opponents at once, so they're not the most deadly class, per se, only the deadliest in terms of how fast they can kill a single opponent.

8.5 Maybe a person who thinks he's the Maker? I would give that guy a house, slaves and Isabella for some sexy time if he was voiced by David Gaider.

1: No.
2: Maybe. Don't care.
3: Why should one care?
4: Don't care.
5: Oookay, point is?
6: Good to know we have your personal opinion on your favourite character. Personally prefer Carver. Do Bioware care? Not really.
7: Oh please.
8: The f*ck?

There's a Mach 5 Beserker/Reaver Warrior build that's being kicked around the character build forums that really shines. It makes the Warrior a force of death and destruction.

And the Mage is the master of the AoE.

The Rogue is probably the funnest to play though.

Maybe I'll get lucky and a future DLC will have a "History Writer" or something.

AHHAAHHAAH CONSOLE PLAYERS!!!! XD

PC 4 life
Anyway i beat the game 3 times also, and if you build your mage right, he can do the most SPIKE damage + AoE, and super super fking fun.

Warrior got really.really... boring... Rogue is always interesting.

I beat all 3 times on Hard, and good lord I hate Meredith for taking all my bloody mana.

PC version requires powerful computer with high end graphics card. I lack that.

Also PC version has horrible DRM protection does it not?

Also PS3 version is played on my 32 inch 1080p TV.

So :P

Agreed overall a good and fun game. Yes some things I didn't like or agree with as evidenced by a couple of my threads. We can't all love everything and every detail. I will continue to support Bioware and David Gaider,

Agreed.

Actually both siblings should live, I have said that since the demo. And the mother too. Having a family just to see it being killed sucks.

I'll say one thing starting as a fighter is about 10,000 times easier than starting as a mage, a good deal because of the items you get at the beginning.

I agree with you about number 6 Carver is just annoying, I just let him die in the deep roads.

Let's not argue about which class is the deadliest or the most fun to play* since no one's going to agree anyway. Also, you dissed Florence + the Machine's "I'm Not Calling You A Liar," so you lose credibility points with me. ;) As for Carver, I happen to prefer him to Bethany. What can I say? I think his sibling rivalry dynamics are more interesting than Bethany's hero-worshiping. Amazing how people can have different opinions, ain't it?

*mages, ftw.

I definitely agree Rouges can lay down some damage. My first play I went with a warrior to get the feel of the game but I could barely keep up with Isabella just destroying everybody. I'm playing a rouge now and it's a lot of fun. You certainly can't get surrounded though, as you would a warrior. Upgraded Evade is your friend and the CD on backstab is so short it's ridiculously destructive. Add in the Assassin perk of your Cunning adding to your Crits and your dish some serious damage on one opponent. I can't wait to get to the Arishok.

ignorance at it's best.  If it will run on the 360/ps3 a mid to lower end PC can handle it...no not with everything turned up...but with everything turned up the consoles versions don't hold a candle either so..yah...what's your point?

and here's another clue..you can build a budget PC that will handle DA2 and more graphically intense games for not much more then a console would cost you (and that's now after price drops)

This is a stupid place to have a console/PC slapfight.

That said the Steam version at least doesn't have any intrusive DRM.

2. There should be an options to kill Meredith while talking to her privately in her office - Game Over.

Not on a laptop with a 4 series express chipset. Those are kind of integrated and impossible to replace.

My other specs might be enough, but without that I'm screwed.

The PC version has a one-time online activation that, I admit, was kind of a pain to get working.

I'm also playing DA2 on a 46" HDTV in 1080p. My laptop isn't the greatest gaming PC ever, but it runs DA2 at console-settings, and I find that more than adequate for my needs.
