I think while Carver adds to Hawkes story, Bethany makes her own.

i love this game as much as origins but had to put my 2nd playthrough as a mage on hold because of isabela friendship glitch which makes my chracter super slow when fighting. I cant wait for more content along the lines of awakening, witch hunt and the deep roads one.

havent started a rogue playthrough yet Warrior was great until u fight the Arishok and you are forced to use like 4 potions, my mage literally went untouched by him though

6. Bethany should always be the sibling who lives.

Agreed.

AHHAAHHAAH CONSOLE PLAYERS!!!! XD

PC 4 life
Anyway i beat the game 3 times also, and if you build your mage right, he can do the most SPIKE damage + AoE, and super super fking fun.

Warrior got really.really... boring... Rogue is always interesting.

I beat all 3 times on Hard, and good lord I hate Meredith for taking all my bloody mana.

PC version requires powerful computer with high end graphics card. I lack that.

Also PC version has horrible DRM protection does it not?

Also PS3 version is played on my 32 inch 1080p TV.

So :P

ignorance at it's best.  If it will run on the 360/ps3 a mid to lower end PC can handle it...no not with everything turned up...but with everything turned up the consoles versions don't hold a candle either so..yah...what's your point?

and here's another clue..you can build a budget PC that will handle DA2 and more graphically intense games for not much more then a console would cost you (and that's now after price drops)

Don't escalate the argument.....

The OP is obviously for lols and I completely agree that both Orsino and Meredith is crazy the whole time...And I would also love the option to shatter the petrified Meredith.

No I thought Carver was the much better character.  Not too much going on with Bethany, I don't dislike her but she's just kind of there.

I think part of the problem is Carver doesn't kiss up to the PC so people think he's an ass but I thought his story arc was one of the most real and best done in the game.  I'm an oldest sibling he reminded me a lot of my sister when we were growing up.

4. The ending song in Origins was better than the one in DAII. This Is War was not only epic, but it pretty much embodied what Origins was. DAII's ending theme, whatever its called, is nice tho.

Not everyone likes emo music. That song is so out of place it isn't even funny. I usually sit through the credits when I beat a game, but with DA:O I had to turn off my Xbox before I slit my own wrists to end that terrible, terrible bleating.

Florence & the Machine fits much better for DA2 than 30 Seconds to Mars fits for DA:O, in my opinion. Lyrically, it suits Varric. Melodically, it suits the setting.

Carver was written to be somewhat unlikeable but I think he was written well. I felt quite sorry for him, the amount of insults he takes along with the low opinion your companions hold him in is quite sad. And an interesting relationship with Hawke. I haven't had Bethany live past the deep roads yet so don't know how she finishes up, but from what I've seen I would say Carver is the better character.

2. There should be an option to smash that witch Meredith after she petrifies.

As soon as I saw that part first thing that came to mind was that was a perfect time to have those interrupts like in Mass Effect 2.   That or I wouldn't mind dragging that thing down to the docks and tossing in the ocean and she if she can still swim.

I demand a David Gaider companion for the next expansion with a scanned in head with his voice acting. Must have flying abilities.

Nope. Carver is in my top three favorite characters in this game. (Fenris and Varric being the other two).
