I play DA-2 on PC... And I see no difference from having the fortune rune on my equipment...
I have saved a game after killing a group of enemies... I take the loot without the fortune rune armor pieces equipped and I get just as much money with the armor pieces that have fortune rune on it...
This is gay! By the way, same goes for "enchanted weapons" spell, no added damage whatsoever!%!/%$

There are other broken spells. Arcane shield does not provide defense to party and what he provides to caster does not match the description.

They work for me, when I tested it the chest had a few additional soverigns wth the runes equipped then without. I actually opened the chest saw 12 soverigns, didn't take anything. used the console to equip the runes. Checked the chest again and there were a few additional cold coins.
The added damage from enchanted weapons is based off your staves elemental damage. If your staff has no elementl damage then the spell won't work.

Elemental Weapons spell actually adds a bonus ability to your weapon that says +x Cold/whatever damage. It is very easy to see.

Alright, here's an update for yall. Indeed, the rune of fortune works SOMETIMES... I happened to come across a chest with about 12 sovereigns in it too, and I got my enchanted equipement on and used the rune of fortunes to bring that number to 15 sovereigns instead...
STILL: 8 times out of 10, whether I have the runes of fortune equipped or not, it doesn't change anything. I guess I was just lucky when I tested in that warehouse...
As for enchanted weapons... Yes I do see a number added to my weapon description, but there is no indication that I am doing more fire damage (my mage has a fire staff...) I look at my party members that have swords and the floating numbers do not show extra fire damage... except for extra fire damage already being added because of Weapon Runes...
I've got a feeling the weapon runes somehow Cancel the "enchanted weapons" spell. Don't know why tho...
