Yo,

in one of my playthroughs (which all ended in act 2 due to severe set bonus bugs or because I missed a herb o_O),
I encountered a group of Templars intending to disturb the Dalish, mainly their Keeper, because of allowing magic. I do not know how I triggered their appearance. I had the choice to kill the templars, end it all peacefully or do something else I do not remember (killing the Dalish was no option, I think).

It was sometime during Act 2 and I just don't know how this was triggered. Does anybody know what I am talking about and how it came to this? Input would be appreciated :).

Jay

Edit: And in case somebody knows about those Templars.. Do they play a role in A2 or even A3 or are they just for cosmetics?

Cant remember fully
In Act 1 There is a mage that you help then you tell him to go the circle or the Dalish if you choose to convince him to go to the Dalish then you get the Templars trying to get the Dalish to hand him over in Act 2

Oh, it must be the quest Night Terrors then. It's about Feynriehl or whatever his name's spelled. So, having this quest still open and travelling to the dalish, the Templars stand there and try to play big. That must be it. Last time I left Kirkwall first when I had completed that particular Night Terror quest already.

Thanks man, should have thought of that. You spared me some painful brain activities desperately trying to figure out why the Templars weren't there anymore :). Kudos!

Wayward Son is the first part in Act 1. Night Terrors is the second part in Act 2 and you will see them there if you at least haven't talked to the mother I think. I was bummed it was one of the few times I saw a group together like that and they didn't attack me on sight.
