... but, I finally beat the game last week and I really need to discuss the ending!

What Cassandra said to Leliana after leaving Varric was a major mind****.

"Just like the Warden"

When I heard that, I couldn't help but freak out.

Obviously we don't have any answers now, but it was just one of those things that drives you crazy.

Ahg!

(Sorry for the lame post, but the ending probablly melted what little brain I had left.)

I just completed the game aswell.

For me I really like the cameos of past characters or hearing about stuff in Fereldan.

As is the Champion. Clearly, Flemeth is building up an army of powerful slaves to combat Morrigan's old god baby in DA3.

My Warden work for Flemeth? I'd sooner join the Qun!

Yea, unlike a lot of people on these forums I liked the ending too. To be honest though, I went into nerdgasm whenever the Warden got referenced so that may have influenced my opinion somewhat.

"Slaves" is the right word, considering my Warden is supposedly off in some parallel dimension with Morrigan and said baby, for the expressed purpose of fighting Flemeth.

I nerd rage because I dislike anything that threatens my happy ending with Alistair.
I shall watch DA3 closely and judge based on this!

And what if you didn't have a baby with Morrigan? What then?

Bet you anything that BioWare will make Morrigan's god baby canon whether we like it or not.
Either a male Warden did it, or Alistair/Loghain.

If they managed to make someone who was on the verge of conquering the galaxy with an infinite fleet disapear for no freaking reason, I am sure they can find a way to impose the DR.

Who? Revan? Technically Obsidian did that.

It was a good meltdown :)

The only bad part is having to wait until DA3 to figure out WTF is going on, unless ofcourse it is taken care of in DLC. I think it is too epic for DLC though.

I'm also racking my brain trying to decide if I would rather play Hawke or The Warden in the next game (if that's a choice). I really want to continue playing a Hawke I think.

Revan and the Exile double-teamed her when they visited Thedas, which is actually located in the Unknown Regions. Duh.

The real question, of course, is which of them is the father? DRAMA.

I feel you there. After the initial shock of the ending I was wondering why my Warden up and left Allistair.

On a lighter note, I love  hime calling me (the warden) the old ball and chain. I thought that was the cutest thing ever.
Well, aside from the rose and all.

I vaguely remember something a dev said somewhere (sorry, I know that's not the most helpful :P) that went "The Warden is gone as in out of the Seekers' reach, not necessarily missing."

But TBH, I want them to leave the Warden alone! Let him/her have the happy ending with chosen LI! :< Awakenings was traumatic enough for us Zev-romancers and having to work in the whole "one-man war in Antiva" into our various fanfictions...

I admit I got a good laugh out of that.
I can just imagine the dialog when Alistair gets home and the Warden has found out what he's been saying.
"Ball and chain am I!?" and then Alistair trying to squirm out of it.
