Has anyone else experienced a problem with Hawke's Blood Magic mode miscalculating his rate of conversion for Health to effective Mana?
I ask because I decided to experiment with Blood Magic by using a Maker's Sigh potion (I'm just now reading that there are some bugs associated with this item) and reallocating his points. I gave him the Blood Magic upgrade that improves the conversion rate and also gave him several items that further improve it. In the end he should have had something like 1:5 or 1:6 Health to Mana.
Instead he loses a variable amount of health when casting spells in Blood Magic mode, sometimes as much or MORE than the base mana cost of the spell. I tried de-equipping the Blood Magic items, thinking that one or more of them might be bugged, but that didn't help.
Merrill's Blood of the First mode works fine - her health cost remains consistent and low.

The damage done by Blood Magic for ability costs wasn't flagged as No Redirect (which prevents the Reactive Damage property from firing). A fix for that is being QA'd.
