Bug in "Raiders on the Cliffs" Quest can't complete

I'm sure others have already posted this bug, glitch, whatever, but I was instructed by a Customer Service e-mail to post the problem here so that's what I'm doing.

While going through act 2 i got the quest "Raiders on the Cliffs".  Isabella disarmed all the traps and I killed all but one of the Raiders.  There's a Raider Archer at the top of the rise on the left looking at the battlefield from the central entry point who does not attack and you cannot attack him.  He just stands there looking around. 

And because you can't kill all the Raiders, the quest will not complete, it's very annoying.  I'm hoping the developers will read this like the e-mail said they would and a fix is in the works soon.

I've have this bug also. The quest worked fine for me on my first playthrough, but it seems like if you enter the Wounded Coast in Act 2 and then leave before doing this quest...it screws it up somehow. Yet another bug to add to the list. *sigh*

I'm playing through a second time with a rogue this time. I'll try to remember to do this quest the first time I go into the Wounded Coast this time around and see if the quest concludes. Thanks for the tip.

Only bug issue I've had with a quest ingame was the one where you had to rescue the noble mans daughter Orliana I believe is her name. I can find the Bandit leader, but it won't innitiate combat. This is also on the Wounded Coast.

Experienced the same bug from the raiders on the cliffs. It is caused by getting the quest then leaving the Wounded Coast before completing. I loaded up a save made before heading to the wounded coast played straight thru without leaving and it worked fine.

Not quite true, you dont have to get the quest first then leave. As stated before, even if you dont receive the quest and visit The Wounded Coast in Act 2, then leave before doing it, you can not complete it.

Very annoying, but it's just one of millions of bugs I have grown to accept in the game now.

the game has been out for a while... this bug has been posted MANY places... WHY is it not fixed yet??? I simply HATE having a quest not complete in my log book!!

I'm searching for a way to manually fix/complete it with savegameeditor i found... so far only managed to edit stats, skills, money, etc... quests are another story...

When has any Bioware title have even token bug patching? What you see at release is what you get unless you plan on waiting 6 weeks after release for a first patch.

I've never seen that big, but I always play mage and I just shoot people with my staff and spells. The computer might bug out and not attack him but you might be able to break the bug if you use a ranged character to kill him.

In PC you can fix this by not looting Fell Orden during battle / after killing him.

The bug that I encountered was on the PS3 version where my character got booted back at the beginning of the quest and started talking to NPC to begin the "Raiders on the Cliffs" quest and this was on patch 1.05.

I didn't encounter this bug until recently but there is a way to finish it. At least it worked for me.

Make sure you have at least one rogue with the confusion bomb in your party. As soon as you identify the raiders standing around contemplating their navels instead of fighting hit the area with a confusion bomb. This will 'wake them up' temporarily and you can concentrate your efforts on them. If you don't kill them before the confusion effect wears off you will have to try again.

I even had my people running around until my rogue could use his c-bomb again but I did eventually get them all. Just make sure you don't kill all the other working raiders and mabari before you're done with the non-responsives.

I got my reward and assume that Act 3 will work properly. I'll try to remember to edit this post either way.

Btw, I'm on the pc and have no way of knowing if it will work on the consoles.
