Getting back deleted characters?

Biggest. Idiot. EVER. I just managed to delete a character that I just finished last night. Does anyone know a way of getting her back or do I have to go throw myself off the nearest cliff?

If the files aren't in your Recycle bin, then probably not.

There are "undelete" tools available for Windows, but chances are that the space your files occupied has been overwritten by something else already. Shouldn't hur to give it a try, though.
