people who refuse to think of others and what they go through each and every day.i guess it would be a form of self centered thinking.like a know a person who has recently said "who care about japan i dont live there good for them.we should give money to people here" that really pissed me off i had to leave that area before i flipped big time

You know what I find slightly annoying? Bleeding hearts.
But, that's not a bad human characteristic, so...certain philiacs.

another thing i cant stand is how people are to p*ssy to take a stand and express how they feel when you got people who believe if a woman dates a man that she is not arranged to marry or a virgin deserves to be raped.... thats what sharia law is for women and imo as a man i think that is insane and i believe we as americans should take that sharia law and shove it up those peoples behinds. the other thing about sharia law is they will force arabic and non arabic women to wear that holy thing they got on there heads, and if you are caught drinking ( this is for both genders) they will give you 40 lashes from a whip in public because those nut balls dont believe in drinking. sharia law is very bad and id rather die than live in a deranged fed up society like that

people today live in fear because there afraid they might rub someone the wrong way. for example if i had a kid in middle school where the school itself tells me my kid he or she must take arabic 101 why shouldnt i say something? why should my kid be forced into something where he or she cant consent to? i admit i voted for obama in 2008 and now i regret it so should that make me a racist if i dont agree with what hes doing and just not say anything in my defence? should anyone just sit wile they get verbally insulted? now a days your labeled a racist if you express that you have little fear if a muslim gets on a plane. if you say that omg

Or cowardice hidden under diplomacy.
Or maybe you think Negotiating, with Hitler was a good thing?
At times the only tongue a person will hear is force. Some stuff in this world should not be tolerated, or we should not parlay with.
But war, in a good cause, is not the greatest evil which a nation can suffer. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people. A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice – a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice – is often the means of their regeneration. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other.
John Stuart Mill

Please, take a moment to think about how you are lumping together a large population of people into one pot.

Tazzmission? I'm hoping that you'll have the smarts to stop spouting your aggressive and offensive vitriol. Sharia Law, like most anything that has to do with any religion, is not accepted by all followers of the Islamic faith (just like stoning is not accepted by all followers of the Christian and Jewish faith).
Please, take a moment to think about how you are lumping together a large population of people into one pot.
no disrespect torwards you but look at what religion as a whole has done to the world. my target isnt just islam and i want you to know that. my other pet peeve is these bible thumpers who go around and think living in a fantasy world will fix whats going on in the real world. and on that note who the hell are they to judge what people do with there lives? how is it ok for christians to decide whats good for people? im not an atheist but i am agnostic and i believe if the crap there spewing like gays are evil or sex before marrage is a sin or im going to hell because i dont believe what they believe than i want no part in that at all. religion is a cult but with more followers

Notice how he says that "...war, in a good cause, is not the greatest evil which a nation can suffer.", implying that, even if the cause is honorable/good/what have you, war is, at best, justified. Nowhere does he state that war should be one's first course of action.

I fully understand your anger (I myself tread the line between deism and atheism), but does stooping down to the level of these people make you any better? Aren't you simply spreading your own personal views and labeling them as law?

Erm, yeah...Ken? JSM was pretty much pointing out that there are both good and bad things about war. He certainly wasn't a proponent.

Umm, no ****? But the fact is in modern (western) society there seems to be a call for no conflict, period. As if that will ever happen. So long as mankind is in conflict with himself( or herself, s/he will with others. Its a dangerous Naive way of thinking thats taking hold, and it will one day cost a great many lives.
More so this moral high ground argument. You should fight to win. Or not at all.
