Been playing a little NWN2 lately for the first time, and im running through the OC to get the feel for the game. Everything has been progressing nicely and im at lvl 15 and nearly done with act 2. All of a sudden around the Arvhan section of act 2 I have been finding several of my party members, and even my main character when I switch to others at times, get stuck and do not follow along with the rest of the group...
I have tried resetting the AI functions such as follow distance, turning AI on and off, and trying just about everything I can think of in the behavior tab, but nothing seems to work. This usually happens to one slot of my party, and Neeska and Bishop have both been problematic with it. I have also had trouble with my main character not following if I switch to the party member who was not following in the first place. So its not an option to just control the non folowing follower, because then my main guy doesnt follow...arg. seems everyones getting stubborn and doesnt want to take directions.
Otherwise a fun game, but im basically playing with one party member standing at the door most of the time now. I would really prefer something that doesnt include downloading a replacemnt file pack if possible, because I prefer to play the game unaltered, but if there is no fix under the behavior menu or something I guess I have to resort to whatever is needed to correct this.
Any help is appreciated, I ran a search but didnt see anything regarding this exact problem.

Press "v" and issue a command to follow or attack.

You can also right click and issue the follow command that way. And you can also drag the follow command icons into your quickbar.

IIRC in this case, RTFM wouldn't have helped. Unless you have the manual for the original NWN.

I've played this game through dozens of times, and this is the single-most frustrating aspect of it. You shouldn't have to issue commands every 10 seconds to get them to do what they're supposed to be doing by default. And very often, no matter how many times I issue the follow me command, some character continues to stand in the middle of the room and refuses to follow (or take any other command for that matter). Exiting the game completely and restarting always fixes the problem, but for crying out loud, how many fixes and patches were done for this game and they never could fix one of the most basic issues with gameplay?
