Is this ringing a bell?
Because they live in a medieval world and can get STD's.
Here's another hint: Life is a risk, why be a hypocondriac and think everything good is out to get you? Yes sex can have its risks, but so can everything else in this world. More often then not the rewards far outwiegh the risks in question.
Unless of course you like staying cloistered away in a solitary room and debating the risks and rewards life entails.

The 10 minutes of grunting and the 5 seconds of flopping around like a fish as a reward is worth the risk of a debilitating disease that will waste you away, rot your brain, and kill you? Yeah, no thanks. You do realize that's the whole point of my "condom" comment right? Cause condom don't exist then? They do now? Right? Get it ?Because condoms prevent these things, but they don't exist in their world? Thus the reason the pirate-hooker has STD's? RIGHT? DOES THIS NOT MAKE SENSE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Also, I never said STD's don't exist now. So. Yeah. What the hell are you on about? We're discussing a medieval setting, where things like birth control consist of drinking poison (literally) and hoping it didn't kill you as well OR being punched in the gut a dozen times if you miss your period and hoping the resulting miscarriage doesn't kill you from bloodloss. There's REALLY good reasons that people in these time periods were somewhat more careful about whom they slept with.
Whatever, you're illiterate.

If I was a mage, I would choose Fenris. If I was anything else, I'd pick Anders.
Whatever heightens the complexity of the relationship. Keeping it going is that much more of an accomplishment.

Wow, I feel very very sorry for you. You have such a stunted and illogical look on the world as it is, I cannot even fathom the events that have transpired to make you so jaded to such a wonderful thing.

fish as a reward is worth the risk of a debilitating disease that will
waste you away
No wonder you have such a sour attitude about sex if thats the only thing you get out of it. But go ahead and call me a "troll" and "illiterate" if that makes you feel better Mr. Historian. I assure you - I couldn't care two ways about your opinions either way.

You've spent the entire time personally attacking me for things I never said, you jackass, you're quite obviously trolling. You're either ilitearate (as you attacked the OP for something she never said, when you said she thought 'sex is worse than violence') or you're intentionally being a ******.
And dude, if you think sex is any more "beautiful" then a grunting fluid exchange, with some possible ass-slapping and french-kissing interspersed, then you're setting yourself up for some disappointment.
It feels pretty awesome, for those couple minutes, but it's not worth ****ing DYING. Especially from Syphillus, which is why people in pervious centuries have had sexual norms that are quite different than our own.
Not to mention simply having a baby was a crapshoot where you died 1/3 times.

Just for your 'Historical' knowledge you claim to have here is a hint - condoms, of course not plastic as today, exist from the early time of Babylon... they used the skin of animal penises to make them if you intentend to say something. During the Middle Ages they were not used that much as 1. only nobels had the chance of getting one and 2. the human kind vision was disguisted from the idea of this.
And just to note that for this reason in order to protected them selfs, not from decieses, but from pregmancy they did make a LOT anal sex... but it worked quite a bit and for the decieses too.
Now if anyone who liked Zevran from Origins hate Isabella... so jeloucy
And don't tell me that if you have a cute looking and fun chick with that kinda of look you would miss sleeping just because she is a ****... I think the people who were with her can give you a hint - no one says no to her
On the topic: Fenris is better... I liked Anders just because of Justice... otherwise he is a waining little p***y who doesn't have the balls to control what he have done to himself, and a selfish bastard. I would have gladly cut off his head and put it on pike on the top tower of Kyrgwal if he was not made to be the best support healer in the game. Fenris at least have some will and believe. He is actually a little like quanari which I respect.

Yeah, hate to break it to you dude, but... Yeah, she went to Anders Clinic to get some... *cough* "Medicine" for an "itch" she had.
Chick had more bugs in her than the entire third act. (Oh, BURN).
As for me, if pressed, I'd go with Anders, pre-act 3. After Act 3, I'd probably just marry my right hand and call it done with.
(I'm straight, by the way. But I'm confident enough in my masculinity to reply to threads like this.)
...
Walking through Lowtown with Isabella, at one point an NPC woman shouts at her, "Hey, the boys on the docks named an itch after you!"
I dunno, I think I liked Fenris a little better then Anders...he was moody and pensive, but not all Emo like Anders became. Instead of cutting himself, he just cut others.

Haha well i mean look at isabella's outfit! does that not answer your question enough? not to mention about 5 minutes after you meet her she offers for you to go see her in her room for a "fun time." i certainly doubt she was talking about playing scrabble.
That is dissapointing. In Origins we only meet her breifly, but she seemed like she had standards. She had to deem you WORTHY of sex, WORTHY of teaching some of her technique to, and THAT was as a Grey Warden and friend of her friend Zevran! Yes, she came off as someone completely owning and confident in her sexuality, and even hedonistic as Zevran, but she wasn't DESPERATE.
I hate her outfit, also... She should be in light armor, not some sort of stripper bar wench costume...wtf. Great, so now she's not a strong woman concerned with self satisfaction so much as a girl with daddy issues over compensating? And I've been exposed to a couple spoiler quotes and stuff... honestly, from the outside looking in at this game, it looks bad. <_<
I had been so excited to see her as a companion, too. *sigh* Wanted to recruit her in Origins.

haha yeah because your choices were so much better: A nieve, self-destructive, blood mage elf who thinks demons are silly buddies, or a pirate prostitute who actually went to Ander's clinic at one point to get help with her extensive STDs. Oh, and who is also a pathological liar.
That's what casual sex is for. Damn, it's good to be a man. And anyways, Anders can get rid of my STD's.

if you take his heal line and the creation line, and toss in some spells like dispel magic he just makes everything easier. his heals are just enough to augment potion use so you can take that much more damage and still survive, and the creation line gives him so much control on the field noone takes much damage anyways.
fenris has a nice aoe stun and otherwise hes a pretty standard 2hd warrior. unless you dont want to take aveline then a rogue would generally make a better damage dealer for your group than he does. if you dont want to take aveline, then hes a good choice to provide stagger.
as far as story goes take your pick.
they are both bi and emo so its not really a huge difference in personality.
the main difference in their personalities is their view on magic, and thats it really.
