Do you people even pay attention to the game? Seriously? That whole quest to bring the amulet was so Hawke would get her ressurected, she knew she was possibly going to be killed by the warden...this was her way to ensure the death was temporary.

Of course, she doesn't necessarily die in Origins, depending on player choice. In DA2 it seems she's not even aware of whether she died or not.

Actually, it doesn't even matter if she was 'killed' or not.

Say you killed her...then her essence was drawn to the amulet, a kind of phylactery in itself.

Say you let her live...then she 'stored' part of herself in the amulet as a way to circumvent the 'no teleporting' rule of Dragon Age magic.

Kind of cool, really.

She shows up at the start. Then she shows up later at Sundermount...and that's it. I thought she'd be a bigger part of the game later on but no, that's it. Why is she even on the background of this site? It's like she was put in the game simply to retcon her death Origins. Did I miss something?

I don't think you know what retcon means.

Actually, it probably  is the wrong word but you know what I mean. They killed her then in this game came up with a excuse to bring her back.

Nope, go listen to Morrigan in Origins again. She states outright as soon as you talk to her about 'now that Flemeth's dead' that Flemeth is most certainly NOT gone for good. Actually, I think she even says this before you go to fight Flemeth, that killing her won't actually kill her. It's not a retcon because there's nothing to retcon. It's an explanation of how she managed it (partially).

Of course, she doesn't necessarily die in Origins, depending on player choice. In DA2 it seems she's not even aware of whether she died or not.

Oh ok. Well in that case her appearace is even more pointless. And in my DA2 she hints that she expects she was killed by Morrigan.

To tempt people into GMILF porn, of course. Why else would someone as old as her be showing off her magically-enhanced cleavage?

From what I saw, Flemeth was certain that she (well, she is used loosely here, who knows what Flemeth really is) will die due to Morrigan. As Flemeth said, she raised Morrigan herself so this was expected. Running into Hawke was a nice coincident and a way to have a backup. Away from Fereldan and Morrigan and Warden, so that she could go on with her scheme. She may be used more in some DLC, although conclusion and bigger part may probably be in DA3. And I hope that when or if I smack her down in DA2, she'll stay down, buggers who keep slipping away are annoying.
