It is just hard to resist not giving a character with the last name Hawke a silly name. Also since there is only one race if you want saves for different playthroughs Garret gets confusing.

Here are a few names I am thinking of using.

1. Cheasy 80's references
a. Hudson (Hudson Hawk Bruce Willis) Rogue since Bruce was a roguish type in that silly movie
b. Stringfellow Hawke (really bad 80's TV show airwolf the guy was in the CIA and flew a helicopter)
c. Saint John (Stringfellow's brother in the show).

2. Mo
3. Ethan (more lame than silly)
4. Chicken
5. Kitty

Anyone else using silly names?

I might use Messere or Serah as the first name for my next playthrough

I haven't used a silly name, per se, but I did name my rogue Hawke the same name that I used for my rogue Warden that I imported for that playthrough.

I did roll with Mo for my SnS build. It was more of an accident of choosing Mo because I wanted to use B. Montgomery (i.e. famous WWII general Bernard Montgomery), but it was too long so I shortened it to Mo...and then the portmanteau of Mo and Hawke hit me. And then it stuck.

I have yet to think of names that are absolutely hilarious, however. There are really lame ones like Black [i.e. Black Hawk(e)] that would just be beyond terrible, so yeah...

I'm very boring. All my characters are named Darkkyn, every playthrough. My main in every game has been the same. I like the movie Hudson Hawk though, so maybe I'll roll that next.

In every Bioware RPG dating back to Baldur's Gate, I've named my PC one of three things: Pikachu, Satan, or Stabbler. The default Male Hawke seen in promos however does look like Ethan Hawke.
