I don't wanna use the Champion's Armor until I get it in Act 3....
... was wondering if there are any "non robe robes" out there that can be set to evolving over time or something, so that if I play a mage, I'm not always in a silly mage robe. >.> That's the biggest hinderance in my attempted mage playthrough.

"Robe of the Notorious Pirate" becomes available in in Act Two.

In act 1 you can get "the Robe of many pockets", but only if Sophia Dryden is alive, is also a non robe robe....

Act 3 Lowtown armor merchant has a non-robe robe as well (named something like 'Warrior Mage's Arms') that looks like the Flint Cuirass for rogues.
Of course, you can always simply use GFF to turn any robe into armor.

You can use Sunnie's evolving Champion armor set. Its not overpowered.Rykoth wrote...
