This is is exactly how Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei started.

For those of us who do not speak or read German can you clarify please? The only word I know is "Deutsche" and that's it.

Thanks to the similarity to English, you can make out the national and socialist part of it, so nothing to clarify here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Reviews are still opinions.  The negatives may have been deal breakers for said reviewer.  I would hope the scores would variy, since we all have different tastes.

Some people seem to have difficulty grasping this.

I think DA2 deserves at least a 5. I could even give it a 7, but then I'd have to close my eyes to the stupid enemy wave spawns and immersion killing scaling.

It's not a bad game... just not a very good epic RPG.

Ummm... never mind. Didn't know the common usage name of Hitler's party was a no-no. Sorry.

2.5 is far too low, just as 96% from PCGamer is too high. They all average out in the end.

I agree, however a score that low indicates severe butthurt from a loyal fan. Not good. The 96% indicates SOMEONE blew half the DA2 environment budget on bribes. Guess which one carries more weight?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: any review which detracts for subjective issues is useless, even more so if it does so in such a tactless and childish way as in the above gamecritics review.

That many? Professional criticsPaid Shills have been very positive about the game.

So what? EA does the exact same thing by paying sites to give positive reviews - escapist much?

Well that's great but the way I see it it's like a famous diva having a promising protege and then the protege becoming Lady Gaga.

Lets not forget Dragon Age established the franchise with critical acclaim.

Well, it's your right to see it that way. I obviously don't but we can at least agree to disagree, no? And we both love DAO and ME2. That's something, right? ;)

They are certainly great games. Which is why I could never support Dragon Age 2 because I feel Bioware has taken a step down from quality and gameplay experience. You mention that you are using mods to sort out some of the issues you have with it but I don't believe a game even if it has a solid modding community behind it should have a less than adequate core experience to build on.

Facts are still facts. No unbiased reviwer with any RPG knowledge would ever give DA2 such a positive score. 70-75% is about the maximum this game deserves.

For those saying BioWarEA has no interest in Metacritic scores:
http://multiplayerbl...sts-developers/

Metacritic scores are also brought up in various interviews, and the interviewee never dismisses metacritic as a something they do not pay attention to. They might quibble about how the scores are tallied, or whether they're fair or not (similar to how colleges complain about how college rankings are handled) but, in the end, they're paying attention to it.

Who is to say what is subjective and what isn't?  Unless you only expect reviewers to detract from scores for obvious bugs.  Some people claim to actually enjoy the recycled environments...doesn't mean it hasn't been the #1 reason so many reviewers have lopped off points from the game.  See...entirely subjective.

And I bet you have no problem with reviewers like let's say...PCGamer...that give high scores for completely subjective things as well.  "Man, this is so much more streamlined and engaging in all its streamliney-ness and insert marketing buzz word here."

So, with your line of thinking the score should have been higher?  Seeing as some of the larger critics gave a good score?  Not every reviewer is going to share the same view point.

This isn't a band wagon here.  If the reviewer didn't like it, I'd like to know.  The review was honest.  Not wrong, opinions rarely are.  His review hit on a couple points that have nothing to do with being subjective.  Reused maps and pop in battles, is fact.

Provide proof that professional critics were paid off before you claim that it's a "fact." Your own view on what "the maximum this game deserves" is is not everyone else's.

While I can agree with you that the review did use language that was overly melodramatic about DA2, it is in fact no more "ridiculous" than sites like PCG who praise DA2 as the "RPG of the Decade" and give it either a 94 or a 96 rating when it was very simply worthy of neither.

I dont see a problem here. It may be too low a rating yet it still makes the average review score more realistic since normally "professional" reviews only consist of hype-score that were "bought" (not literarely but by actually needing good review scores to get advertisments and games early etc.)

So in my opinion it may was a score that was too low, yet it only put the average to a realistic level since until now it was only hype scores like 100% which is just retarded no matter how you look at it (nothing is perfect) and normal scores 60-80 so naturally the average score was too high.

I think for Dragon Age 2 a score vrom 70 to 85 should be realistic depending on the review site. And i think everybody should be happy since either way even if you liked DA2 im pretty shure if EA sees the low ratings they wont release another DA with such a short development-time so all of us should get better games in the future.

On the other hand if it wasnt like this the lesson EA would learn here woudl be that you can produce crap, reduce costs, copy past everything but still get lots of money just by using a well known brand. If thats waht you want?

Good find comrade Andhaira, clearly this is nothing but vile propaganda against the motherland,
