You shut up, they answeared only questions that they likely made up themselves. No fan in they're right mind would ask any of that. Even if that's how they planned it, you don't hype people just to deliver that load of crap. That's not how advertisement works. If you do not know how things work, then shut the hell up.
Wow, that was eloquent, and thank you for the advice but i wont shut up Mr Internet Superhero man
Also no real fan in their right mind would complain about something like this. It was a talk to a writer, about writing for Mass Effect, not just the games, not just the characters, but the franchise in general. Fitting lots of decent questions into only half an our when there is some banter going on as well isn't very realistic. So suck it up and deal with it like a proper bloke, or woman.

But they only answeared questions about the damn writing, totally what nobody wanted. Kinda killed it for everybody.
and it's Uber Mr. Internet Superhero Man to you.

All I got from this chat was "Boy, I sure do love the illusive man" I kind of figured that from the terrible fanservice comic you're making for the guy, mac. Too bad it makes as much sense as fanfiction often does.
I'll take the fanfic.

But from the pages of posts recently, it sounds as though the hype was bigger than the product. Ominous. o-o;;

Ok I'll stop my Hate Parade on the Haters, but come on guys really. He is the Lead Writer, he was always going to be talking about writing, not thermodynamics, not quantum theory, not how smokin' Tali is (although that would have been nice) but writing. Take from it what you can, and be thankful it even happened, i personally like any kind of interaction with the developers, on any level.
kudos to you, man (or woman

If it was 3 years ago, yeah. But this is the new Bioware. Not as interesting as before.

Indeed. I kipped school to buy ME2. Don't think I will do the same for college when ME3 hits stores.

I'll grant, it wasn't what I was expecting or wanted, but it was still interesting. And as some have said, it's always nice to have the creators interact with the community like this.

The amount of people that hate BioWare or think they have sold out but still post on their forums and/or buy their games always make me smile.

There were some really great insights in the webcast.Feena.c wrote...
Whoa, what's with all the hate? Sure, it wasn't about ME3 but that's months from now. They talked about Arrival as much as they could without spoiling it. If you didn't want to listen to him talking about writing then stop listening, or wait until it was over and skip through it for stuff you wanted to hear.

what happened that pissed people off so much?
Apparently the chat was useless and didn't answer the though questions even ones that had nothing to do with Mass Effect 3.
