5 PM EST? Crap, I probably won't be around. I hope someone asks him why Shepard couldn't bring up Akuze.
I will see if I can do that for you JamieCOTC. I will attend this and ask a few questions, if I can.

The answer is most probably the latter.Sable Phoenix wrote...
Someone should ask Mac Walters if he's destroying the consistency and lore of the Mass Effect universe because he enjoys doing so or just because he doesn't care.

- Why did Mass Effect 2's main story feel generally inferior and fruitless compared to its predecessor's?
- Why couldn't a Sole Survivor Commander Shepard bring up the Akuze incident to the Illusive Man?
- Why are there so many unexplained plot points in Mass Effect 2, such as Shepard's resurrection and the Collectors' ultimate motives?
- Are the characters Ashley Williams and Kaidan Alenko expected to make a significant return at some point in the future, seeing as how they have been treated rather unfairly since the end of the first Mass Effect?
- What can we expect from Mass Effect 3 storywise?

1. Because Mac Walters wrote it.
2. Because Mac Walters wrote it.
3. Because Mac Walters wrote it.
4. No, because Mac Walters wrote it.
5. Not much, because Mac Walters is writing it.

I fully realize that. But I think that's the point of a Q&A session with your fans. It's not that we're asking him to fix anything; we're simply asking for an explanation on them. Going by the posts in this thread (so far), it seems these are the questions people would like to see addressed. You could reword them as you please; they're just here as a reminder, that's all.Fdingo wrote...
All these questions feel...quite accusatory. I'm not saying that we should just suck up to them but surely there must be better ways to word these and possibly questions about the creative process rather than just naming all your personal complaints knowing well ahead that there is little Mac Walters can do about them now.

What kind of questions should we be asking, then? If you go over the previous pages of this very thread, this is exactly the kind of thing people are interested to here. I agree that they're probably not the best, but if it's what we'd like to here, why not?LovesRamen wrote...
Like, half of those are opinions and the other half are accusations.
Perhaps a better rewording would do.

A little wonky and could use some cleaning up, but I tried to make it as civil and non accusatory as possible while still being specific.

I would have written the same but aren't questions supposed to be, you know, short and concise?JamieCOTC wrote...
Akuze: One of Commander Shepard's back stories, Sole Survivor, has his squad killed by a Thresher Maw. In ME1, we learn that Cerberus was behind this attack on Shepard and his squad. Was there a story reason as to why (presumably paragon) Shepard did not confront TIM or Miranda about this indecent when Cerberus asked for his help?

Really? Because these 4...
- Why couldn't a Sole Survivor Commander Shepard bring up the Akuze incident to the Illusive Man?
-
Why are there so many unexplained plot points in Mass Effect 2, such as
Shepard's resurrection and the Collectors' ultimate motives?
-
Are the characters Ashley Williams and Kaidan Alenko expected to make a
significant return at some point in the future, seeing as how they have
been treated rather unfairly since the end of the first Mass Effect?
Are perfectly valid questions that would be nice to hear answered by the guy in charge of the story.- What can we expect from Mass Effect 3 storywise?

Some vocal fans think that the writing and story of ME2 was weaker than that of Mass Effect 1. Do you agree? If so how will the writers attempt to rectify this ME3? If you do not agree, what is your opinion of the writing and story in ME2 compared to ME1?
Yeah its a long prompt like question...but its better than sounding like a jerk imo.
Its not that bloody difficult to ask a question about someones work without sounding like a aggressive fanboy/girl. just set aside your frustration for a minute and use your brain.
Oh and my actual questions
Will ash or kaiden be involved with Arrival? If not, will they be involed with any other DLC?
In ME3 will we be recruting anyone, or are we just going to focus on the reaper storyline?
God damn mining. Is it returning?
What are the future plans for the Mass Effect series? (other than books, the movie, and the comics)
I will be in class during the chat (damn it) so feel free to steal my questions...

Why does the baby Reaper look like a T-800?
How were the Collectors going to ever get enough humans to finish the baby Reaper?

The problem is I assumed they would only accept short and quick questions, hence why the majority of my questions are rather short and concise although still sounding accusatory. It appears I was wrong in assuming that, which is great.Emperor Mars wrote...
