Not sure if this is even possible to mod, but here we go:

Been a big fan of L4D's survival mode and DoW2's Last stand DLC.

While playing through DA2 for the second time and clearing some of the bigger/longer waves of enemies it hit me, this would be a perfect game to implement some sort of survival-mod.

Short explanation:

- You start by importing the character of your choice from a saved campaign, with gear and everything.
After this you get to chose 3 companions (roster is 3 warriors, 3 mages, 3 rogues) for those who want to go all out with 4 rogues etc.
- Spec your companions to your chosing. Their starting gear is slightly lower that the item level of your imported character.
- "Questgiver" at the arena starts the survival challenge.
- Like in the games I mentioned previously, let there be 1-20 encounters with increasingly difficult opponents.
- Enemies drops gear/gold which is auto-picked up after a wave is cleared.
- Short period of "Out of Combat" between waves to regenerate mana/stamina/health.

Between challenges, Bodan and Sandal is there for enchanting, buying potions, selling gear and respecs.

Further thoughts on features:

- Some kind of "highscore" list would be lovely.
- Should there be civilians who you have to protect? Challenge ends when either your team or all civilians are killed.
- Hardcore mode: No resurrections allowed, no potions allowed, no out of combat-moments between waves.

Not sure about you lads, but a mod/DLC of this kind would keep me occupied for a few hours at least :)

Now, let the bashing begin!

(And as you might have noticed, english ain't my native language)

One can only dream, but imagine that as a co-op mod.

It could be done, but only with the toolset, I think.

Interesting, let's see if we can get the attention of some toolkit-wiz then

Would be a bit difficult I believe as Dragon Age 2 sadly doesn't have its own Toolkit yet... And for now it seems highly unlikely that Dragon Age 2 ever will get its own toolkit.

Ok, my bad. Forgot to read up on the limitations in modding DA2.

Anyways, just wanted to get this on print before I forgot about the idea.
