I certainly would not support a multiplayer as a section of a main ME game, and personally I'd never support one full stop unless it was pitting people's sheps against each other, though after the main ME games I seriously doubt that would happen

he said it last may or june. i really dont feel like digging through old threads to find it. but he did say me3 will stay on the single player system like the other two titles

yea chris preistly said it last year when the forum was bombed with co/op and multiplayer threads. if anything multiplayer could end up in a spinoff is my guess.

I know there isn't, but I would like it. If ME2 had multiplayer, I would definitely be playing it a lot more. You can only finish the game so many times until eventually you just get bored. It would have to be balanced, of course.

No he DID NOT CONFIRM there would be no multiplayer in ME 3. It was actually Pacifien that made a comment stating there would be no multiplayer. Unfortunately Pacifien is just an ordinary user with moderating powers and does not work for Bioware so he does not really know :-

Now according to some one on this board it seems Pacifien was wrong to say what he said but I am not going to discuss that here because it apparently involves private discussions and I don't want to get banned.
All in all right at this moment no one knows if ME 3 will have multiplay or not. My own personal view is that Bioware are being incredibly "evasive" about the whole thing and that is never a good sign. I don't want multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 but I am quickly learning that in the chase for new customers the existing loyal customers are not important.

There's something called a budget. I really don't want them wasting it on some stupid mode people will play and forget about in about three months, just so they can appeal more to the players with god-awful multiplayer fetishes.

If it dont have multiplayer ill wait for it to go to the 99 cent bin as i play Gears 3 and pop peoples head off in Execution match's. ME 3 with no multiplayer = One week of excitement and I want games that give me months of excitement not a measly week.

I can only hope they won't. Multiplayer kills games with stories, it's always one or the other that gets the most attention. I've yet to see a game with a plot as complex as Mass Effect's survive the implementing of a multiplayer mode.

Honestly putting a multiplayer on the last game of the triology is a bad move...if there is a high demand for multiplayer they can release it with the next saga they will produce after ME.
