Blew up the Chantry and jumped out of the window. How did magic do that? How did Anders have access to such power. Was it from Justice/Vengence or from his research? That red beam almost resembled the archdemon's death.

Dworkin the Mad might have taught him a trick or two. He used ingredients from all over Kirkwall. I took it as Anders simply using magic to ignite the compound that he put together.
