It's a damn flying cab made by those jaw-flapping aliens!! we need more human-originated vehicles! plus it would be cool to see huge attack helicopters alongside the Mantis gunships on Earth.

that crappy tank cant compete even against semihated mako. Looks more like halo product..in mass effect universe much better armored mako couldnt take more than 2 shots from a thesher maw... that tank would not last more than butter against a volus

And is the OP thinking of the warthog?

That thing has less armor than the Hammerhead.

As long as it doesn't have wheels I'm good.

Hover vehicles sucks, thats why the Hammerhead got more haters than lovers.Just give me ME Humvee,ME main battle tank,ME attack helicopter, the M36 Mako and I'm good to go.

Yes but not exactly the M12 Warthog,a Mass Effect HMMWV like in my OP post.

I don't mind anything with wheels... personally I liked the Mako. But landing on a planet was tedious because of the terrain, not the mako itself. Bioware just has to fix that terrain issue if they are to make a wheeled tank in ME3.

You are joking right? The Featherhead can be destroyed by a couple Geth with an AR, even in Reach which has the most pathetic vehicles in the series the Warthog can stand up to more punishment than that.

No .. none of this .. what we need in ME3 is a fully customizable vehicle that has a dozen or more parts to mix and match (wheels like the mako, hover thrusters like the hammerhead, cannon, plasma gun, extra armor, .. etc etc) .. just like the N7 armor in ME2 .. you can mix and match the parts to gain various pros/cons .. and also change the colors/patterns on the vehicle ... that how is MUST be .. i won't accept any compromises XD

I support this idea.

Totally agree with you about the terrain.

Correction, the M36 Mako is a infantry fighting vehicle, tank is a tracked armored vehicle.

This is a tank and I want to use it when we arrive in London soon...

I love seeing "Featherhead" comments every now and again.

Keep the hover ability, but give it Mako-level shields and armor (or beyond).

Ok, this mademe laugh!

As for vehicles comparable to modern military units, I rather like the American MRAP, Stryker and Bradley or the Russian BTR/BMP type vehicles.  Given the use of 3 man teams in ME it seems practical to have some sort of IFV/APC  type vehicle.  Or maybe we can take to the skies and utilize some sort of armed gunship like the mercs use in ME2.  Or some ME universe version of the Russian Hind or V-22 Osprey.

Lots of potential... if done right.

I rather liked the Mako just for the record and though the fragility of the Hammerhead is sometimes frustrating, if played to its strengths it's quite devastating IMO.  Just pretend it's a ground hovering version of the A6M Zeke/Zero of WWII and not a Grumman F6F Hellcat.

Hell yeah,I do want 2180s version of the Russian Hind,a combination of attack/troop transport helicopter,larger size,collapsible rotors,bulletproof glass,titanium armor,shield,jet thrusters,siege gun,rotary cannon,etc..

Do you see any visible rotor blades? I dont think so,those are small support VTOL gunship, helicopter is a rotorcraft similiar to gyrodyne.I'm sure we're going to see it on ME3 Earth, the homeland!!

I loved the chatter between shep and liara in that sequence :)
