Has anyone managed this? I keep reading details on missions but she barely gives 5 rivalry or friendship here and there. I cannot imagine getting her that high on the rivalry scale.
Any tips? I want to give her over to the Arishok and that cannot happen if she's not at 50%.

It's hard but not impossible.
If you pick her up early, you can get her to 40 rivalry by the end of Act 1. Be nice to everyone, never haggle, don't use the sarcastic remarks, and spare the man in Magistrate's Orders.
In Act 2, don't flirt with her. Take her to the Fade, use the aggressive response when she turns on you, and afterwards dig into her for picking a boat over her friends.
When doing To Catch a Thief, demand that she turn the book over to the Qunari.
