Cmon bioware. Can you at least inform us as to how long it will take to patch this? I dont think they realize how much of a game breaking bug this is. I shouldnt have to wait a month to play a game after i buy it. Its absolutely pathetic how developers release unfinished products these days.

I'm sure they do realize how much of a game breaking glitch it is... As much as I agree with you, it's out of our hands. We will just have to give it time. I just hope that I can resume playing sometime before the end of the month, but if it takes longer to release a patch that permanently fixes this problem and others, then I guess that will have to do. I don't think making new threads about a topic that is being discussed so much already is going to make the patch/announcement come any faster.

I had to redo my playthrough to get around this bug, and now i've been hit with ANOTHER bug (Merill quest bug) and i've halted my playthrough until they patch the game. I really want to know how long i'll have to wait for a patch, some kind of ETA.

I'm sure ETAs would be appreciated by everyone, but given the number of glitches regarding bonuses/penalties not being added or removed properly (Isabella and Sebastian's friendship abilities lowering Hawke's capabilities permanently, shield bonuses not being removed when one changes shields, Maker's Sigh potions permanently nerfing passive abilities, etc.), I have a feeling the fix is not an easy one. They are probably being forced to go through a lot of code and rewrite a great deal of info to fix it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to put the game down for the time being too and IF it's fixed I'll return to it. Maybe. If I haven't traded it in.
