Hi, apologies if this has already been done, but I've been over every thread in this section that has a post within the last couple of months, so.....

Anyway, to the point.  I was looking around this section of the forums, and wondered why there wasn't a captain anderson support thread, so I decided to make one.  I personally really like the character of anderson, he's got an interesting past with Saren in ME1, and is one of the few people in the galaxy who takes you at your word, tries his best to help no matter even if he's charged with treason, is in a position to actually do something, and is the only person who ever hits udina (that last one on it's own is reason enough for me to really like him).  He's great and supportive in ME2, and tries his best to give you a hand if he's on the council.

He's great at commanding the normandy originally too, him being in command really made me enjoy the first part of ME1, and of course, since that was the first part of any ME game I played, that was really good.

I also think it would be brilliant to have him in your squad in ME3!

Now, I realise full well that this might be the only post this thread ever sees, but I thought, hey, no harm in trying.  If no one replies, oh well, if it gets some posts, great.

Discuss Captain Anderson.

I think the people who post on mass effect forums are not representative of the general gaming public that has played mass effect. I think this also goes for people who post on forums about just about anything--they don't represent the general fan. I suspect that the general gaming public really likes Captain Anderson. Forum posters don't like the 'obvious' and don't want to have 'obvious' takes on anything--on the contrary, they want to be the smartest person in the room.

This whole thing reminds me of a bit of enlightenment that I got when listening one time to a talk radio host. He said that talk radio listeners and talk radio callers are two completely different species.

I understand what you're saying, I just find it unlikely that no one likes captain anderson enough to post a single response *poor anderson*.

I get the feeling that he will play a larger role in ME 3 since he resigned from the Councilor-ship, and helped the turians take out some Cerberus assets. He sure deserves more appreciation than he gets.

Larger role in 3 would be good, it's not as if he could have died by now, could well have a larger ME3 role.

He does indeed deserve more appreciation than he gets, I agree with you.
