In other platforms, when we play an NG+ game, we do a straight ME2 import, meaning the game simply reads an existing ME2 savefile and creates a new one. That means all of the ME1 choices, equipment, and weapons specialization are already there. But on the PS3, I heard that if you did an ME2 import, it has to go through the comic, you can't skip it. Is that true? If so, I find it odd that PS3 players get to re-pick their ME1 choices all over again, which is completely unneccessary since the savefile you're using already contains the choices you've already made in the comic in the first playthrough.
I'm just speculating that perhaps the comic itself can create a new game, but it has trouble with reading an ME2 savefile during the ME2 import (NG+). As a test, it possible to a) delete the comic and make an NG+ game to see if the glitch is still there,
