Any thoughts?

Even if she would be happier as a Warden, that's a death sentence.

But that does not mean that her life will be better in a circle in a future time. I prefer to see her as warden personally. Far from hatred and extremism.
I don't want her to be involved in this war mage / Templars.
My Hawke in DA3 will not engage in any camps.

The circle corresponds more to its aspirations. Stay in Kirkwall, be with people like her.

Heh
Assuming Hawke is actually the PC in any future series installments, I'll bet real money that you won't have any more choice in the matter than you did in the previous two games. In situations like what is happening right now (a war, in other words) neutrality is never an option. At least not for main characters.

Me, Carver and Merill all hired on a certain Rivaini pirate ship, good luck to the templars trying to find me on the ocean

Say, you can actually sail off with Isabela, right? Or is that only if you're in a romance with her. Because that makes all kinds of sense, really.
"I just defied the Templars in the center of the power in Eastern Thedas. It is time to GTFO and take the people I love most with me!"
"HEY ISABELA! You know that ship? The one I didn't kill a miserable slaving scum so that you could blackmail him out of it? Yes, that one. How fast can it set sail?"

Pretty much - Yes. She offers it to you if she gets the ship no matter if you romance her or not - and why shouldn't she, she fought at the gallows too, she's as guilty as me

Seeing that theres a war that's starting and any noromal mage is put in a place where they have to either run, fight or die doesn't seem like a great life. Being a Warden she's immune from the war every country in Thedas sees Grey Wardens as neutral and no Templar is going to risk the Warden's vengance by killing one.
but you forget the templars had one templars watching anders with the wardens blessing. sorry they don't sound neutral in that regard

Seriously, you think the Wardens are a death sentence, the Kirkwall circle is basically full of dead men (or women) walking.

A 30 year sentence isn't great, she'll die when she's 48. But it isn't terrible either, medieval life expectancies being what they were especially as a mage in the current era.
Plus, you never know, maybe they'll recognize sparing Avernus in a meaningful way and indicate that his research has been imparted to the Wardens in general and increased their life expectency.
