Sorry if this has been posted but searching in this forum is ridiculous...

So, I love Leliana in this game and thought she was the best cameo.  But, I was a little confused by what she says to Cassandra about Hawke and the Warden both disappearing.  In my save import, my Warden romanced her and they were together.  So, now I am assuming they split up and the Warden just disappeared at some point?  Is this referring to the Warden going through the mirror at the end of Witch Hunt because my Warden did not.  Is this still speculation?  Has there been any Gaider or other writer comments on this subject?

Thanks in advance...

Because at some point no matter who romance or marry the Warden takes off. It says so at the end of awakenings. No one knows what it's in reference too though, but it's not witch hunt.

Bioware (thankfully) seems to want to leave a door open for the return of the Hero of Ferelden (or the Warden Commander if you did the US) so, in the end any path that isn't going through the Eluvian with Morrigan is going to be changed at some point since the Warden need to be free of any compromise to get back into the story, it's just to be expected.

The Warden disappeared in every one of the Awakening epilogues. For my part, being a Morrigan romancer, I easily link that to the eluvian. For everybody else it's mysterious mysteriousness that one hopes Gaider will reveal at some point.

Imagine that your Warden and Leliana were forcibly separated by something or other (Flemeth would be my first bet) and that's part of the reason she's trying to find him again, if it helps.

I'm hoping this will be explained in DLC following Act 3. I think Bioware will have us remake our Warden, scaled to Hawke's level. As a test I remade my Warden (Profile Pic) in DA2, it was a success, although I altered the hairstyle to the one Sebastian uses out of personal preference.
