So, I finished the game last night. The Game automatically makes a post campaign save, so that you are ready for any DLC that may be released. This is all well and good.
However, if you load that post-campaign save, your storage chest is empty, and you lose any gear that you had in it. You do retain your inventory, however.
Other than grabbing everyting and cramming it into your inventory before the final fights, is there a fix for this in the works?
All stored gear gone after game ending

I'm sorry to bump my own thread, but I can't search the boards, so I can't tell if this has been addressed anywhere else.

Is this the storage chest in Soldier's Peak, or did you add one as a mod.

Ack! Sorry... wrong game. I was thinking DAO. Nevermind the above.
I got paranoid and loaded all my gear on my character for DA2.

I wouldn't worry about it just yet, since you can't do anything at that stage. I'm assuming all the pointers will get fixed when content becomes available (after all, the letter table isn't exactly working without problems, at the moment).

I've got this very same issue and posted a similar post elsewhere. It's a little disconcerting, though the fact that none of the armor would work for anyone aside from Hawke kinda mitigated the panic. If this was DA:O I'd have been pulling my hair out

I also noticed the storage chest had been emptied. I guess it'd be possible to refill it using the savegame editor, but it'd be nice to know if it's by design or caused by a glitch.
Edit: which was quite annoying since the game I'd played prior to DA2 was Two Worlds II which essentially did the same thing. Argh, etc.

Hi,
Does Bioware have a solution to this problem such as a patch? Really ****** me off. all this time I have been collecting all the good stuff and poof, all gear gone.A minus for me for Bioware coding.

We're aware of this issue and hope to have it remedied before any post-campaign accessible content is available.
