So, I'd like to know which companions have banter about your romance, I hate missing banter. Also, any dialogue Hawke might have with other companions about her/his romance. So far I know:

Banter:

- Varric has a banter with your LIs about getting 'details right'.
- Anders and Fenris have a banter if Hawke romanced Fenris ('Leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done') and then have a banter if they both romanced Hawke and Hawke stayed with Anders ('If you break her heart, I will kill you'.)
- Merrill has a banter with your LI if it's not her. (these are all so cute )
- Sebastian has a banter with Isabela if she's in romance with Hawke.
- Isabela and Merrill have a banter if Merrill's romancing Hawke.
- Isabela and Varric have a banter if Merrill's romancing Hawke.

Dialogue with companions:

- Isabela talks to you at the Hanged Man about your LI.
- Anders asks if you're sure about Fenris/Meriill (didn't seem to say anything about Isabela).
- Varric asks if you're sure about Anders (doesn't seem to say anything about other LIs).
- Aveline asks about you and your LI at the end of The Lond Road quest.
- Sebastian questions you if you are in a romance with Anders.

Other:

- Mother mentions your LI when talking about remarrying.
- Gamlen makes a remark.
- Your LI will have something to say in the final scene with Zevran.

Anything else?

Ah, yeah, he doesn't seem to like Merrill that much, either, it makes sense. Didn't get to romance Merrill yet.

Had some bugged romance banters. Merrill asks Fenris about his romance with Hawke after Hawke and Anders are living together. Never got the "Leaving her was the hardest thing I've ever done" or the accusatory banter from Fenris, though. I'm thinking there's an Act 3 dialogue that has to happen first, like maybe Fenris comes back to see if it's possible to patch things up. It isn't, at least as far as my Hawke is concerned. Fenris had his chance.

The best one for me was with Sebastian after you've slept with Isabela: (close as I can remember)

Seb: Why are you still here? Following Hawke doesn't get you any closer to getiing your ship.

'Bela: I stay for the sex. Hawke is a tiger between the sheets. All night, every night. Aww, you're blushing.


Or 'Bela and Merrill, changing depending on wether 'Bela has declared her love:

Merrill: I think Hawke likes you.

'Bela: Really? / I should hope so

Merrill: She looks at you all the time, then gets embarrassed and pretends to be doing something important.

Hawke: I'm standing right here you know!



I love the banter in DA2, so many funnies.

No, there's no particular dialogue. If you don't have another romance going you can renew the romance with Fenris in act 3 when you reach 100 rivalry or friendship, otherwise, he never says anything.

No, there's no particular dialogue. If you don't have another romance going you can renew the romance with Fenris in act 3 when you reach 100 rivalry or friendship, otherwise, he never says anything.

Ah, so bugged game, then. Not terribly surprised. At least it isn't gamebreaking, although I will definitely not be exporting this playthrough for DA3.

Gah, I know, so many bugs. Almost all of my DA:O imports are bugged as well, I shudder to think what will happen when we import to DA3.

@MoogleNut Ah yes I forgot the Sebastian-Isabela one! That was probably one of the few Sebastian's banters I liked. Isabela makes everything better.

There are a few between Aveline and Isabella about Donnic (sp). I saw the one with Fenris and Anders last night which I found odd since I haven't paid any attention to Anders. I didn't understand why he would question me about Fenris like he did right in front of him. There was something being said between Fenris and chantry boy that I missed part of so not sure what they were talking about.

Also Gamlen has an eww-inducing comment on LadyHawke and 'Bela,especially since he's your uncle:sick:.

Oh, and Leandra says "I've heard your pirate friend talking, the two of you don't need me standing over your shoulder"

then, of course Aveline during/after (I forget) The Long Walk quest asks about Hawke and 'Bela and the pressures of the dangerous lifestyle.

Since I can't seem to Romance anyone but 'Bela (Same as in ME, always Liara:wub:), I don't know anyof the others.
Saying that, my mage LadyHawke is going to end up with Merrill - She's just too adorable not to.

Merrill and Isabela have a pretty d'aaaaw one:

Isabela: You and Hawke... something's there, isn't there?
Merrill: She's so amazing and beautiful. How could anyone not love her?
Isabela: Oh, I could give you a list, but that would just bore you.
Isabela: So... did you get naked?
Merrill: Isabela!
Isabela: Ooh, look at that blush. That good, huh?

But Varric has this one that I about fell out of my chair laughing at:

Varric: So, Hawke and Daisy.
Isabela: I think they're darling together.
Varric: It's almost too adorable. Well, except for the evil blood magic thing.
Isabela: The most evil thing Merrill does most days is pick the flowers out of other people's gardens.
Varric: I know, I have to bribe most of the gardeners in Hightown to keep it quiet.

i wish there was a proper (and super awkward) conversation to have with your Mom about your romance.

You also get a conversation with Sebastian who questions your relationship with Anders. Well, I think it's part of his Questoning Beliefs convo and he brings it up.

Ooh, really? I only got him to 100 on my Isabela romance playthrough, and he didn't say anything. Will have to try it out.

Not sure if it falls under the banter heading, but at the end of A murder of Crows, if you didn't hand Zevran over, 'Bela says "What, no sex?" as Zev is about to leave.
If you're in a romance with her you can tell her you don't want her to go with him, to which she responds (without too much pouting it has to be said) "Fine, but there better be sex when we get home to make up for it!"

Ooh, also Merrill has a conversation with Avelin wether you've flirted or not which show's she likes Hawke from the start, along the lines of:

Merrill: You're fond of Hawke aren't you? You look out for her.
Aveline: Yes.
Merrill: I like Hawke
Aveline: Maybe you should keep that to yourself.
Merrill: I'd rather keep it with her

Haven't tried Merill, but Fenris' "Depends on how far you wish to test that luck of yours" is pure squee inducing badassery

Yeah, my Hawke, like my Warden only goes for the girls, and she doesn't like to share, um , unless Leliana is involved...Sister Nightingale indeed:whistle:
