Merrill and Bethany have the right idea. Chainmail.
Why should a man of hawke's stature have to wear a dress?

I'm tired of arguing with you.. Everthing I told the OP in my initial respose was true. You in fact are going on 90% opinion. You are also at this point trying to start a fight. Honestly I dont care if you believe me or not . I told the truth to the OP like I said. You are trying to be a rules lawyer in something you undersatnd only part of . In short --- conversation over ---
And as I said in response to your first post, that is what the sterotype is. But that sterotype doesn't apply to Dragon age.
And for that matter how can what I say be 90% opinion if it is all backed up by the game? Bethany and merril aren't wearing robes and have metal parts to their outfits. That means it is 100% fact that mages can wear things other then cloth and/or robes. The champions set is not a robe and has cloth parts, that is 100% Fact. You clearly have no idea what 90% means and what the word opinion means.
Your own mage is shown on your profile as wearing the noble finery you get while in hawkes estate. You can equip that outside of your house if you loot it from a chest in your house. You can enter combat in that outfit, and its not a robe. 100% fact. 100% against the sterotype. Proves without a doubt the sterotype doesn't hold true for Dragon age.
The only one trying to be any type of lawyer here is you. You ignore most of what I say, claim indisputable facts as opinion, continually reference me instead of the topic, and think you know so much more when your own words indicate otherwise.

Hakwea, I honestly wouldn't bother continuing, Chaos' entire argument can be summed up in one sentence, "But thats the way its always been!" In other words theres no actual logic or reason, which means you can't actually debate with them. Some people are just like that, they get so hung up on a set idea of how things are supposed to be that they refuse to even consider the idea of change.

That's why I play default female hawke. I will always be the prettiest girl at the party!
That said....
Those mage robes still look awful on a woman, too.
