I am currently on my second playthrough (gotta love incentivising playthroughs with trophies/achievements
The most prominent and concerning example of this being the rogue Specialist tree. Speed, power and precision should all be mutually exclusive, and if you activate one and try to activate another, the second one should overwrite the first. However, if activated in a certain way, you can get all three active at once.
First, activate the first talent, I usually start from the pause/L1 menu for ease of use. The character will go through their casting animation, will glow/flash and will return to a neutral stance.
Immediately upon the flash and the return to neutral stance, L1 to bring up the pause menu and activate the second ability. The character should go immediately into a second cast animation, with a second flash and then return to neutral. The talent icons should now both be doing the "just got cast" flash. Immediately after the second return to neutral stance, go and cast the third of the specialist talents. If done in the right manner, you should have all three talents up.
I have tested this so far with the Specialist talent tree under Hawke, Varric, and Isabella, the talents for Avelline and the two character talents for Anders.Like I said though, the Specialist talents are the most drastically overpowered example of this glitch.
