When I killed the mob that holds the key to get in the door, he died right next to a pillar....and now I cannot loot the corpse to get the key to progress the quest. I was hoping to just say forget it and bypass it, but it won't let me start the expedition without first completing the Wayward Son. Anyway to reset it or able to access the loot?

Looking online, doesn't look like it can be done - awesome - 8 hours wasted while I start the game over from scratch.

Shouldn't need to restart, there'll be an autosave from when you entered the area or even more recent.
