By badass you mean generic? I noticed it, i mean its the only tangible thing there is about being "champion."

This. I thought it was Hawke at first, but then I got closer and realized that it was a man. Pissed me the hell off is what it did.

I thought it was a cool idea, but it would have been cooler if the statue was based on your Hawke--or at least had male, female, rogue, warrior and mage versions.

Also it's the same stupid statue regardless of what you do.

I was a MAGE with the default Hawke (I like my first playthroughs to be based off the trailers, second to be an informed playthrough with a custom character) and the statue was of a knight with a flaming Sword.

So your telling me there is no way to create a statue of my ACTUAL character? Aren't there MMOs that do just that for 1000s of players per server?

It is Hawke. Just Varrics version of him/her, when he had a chat with the sculptors. They never met him/her after all.

It's not Hawke. Varric would have mentioned my generous bosom.

If it's supposed to be me, they got my gender my weapon, my armor and my profession wrong :|

AW I thought that was Hawke. D:

Granted a generic sword wielding Hawke but still Hawke.

Hey, it's not their fault that you all played the wrong type of Hawke.

The statue was perfect for me.

I bet it doesn't even change if you let the Qunari live.

It's not Hawke, it's a generic city guard. I imagine it's supposed to represent Kirkwall's victory over the Qunari (which is a lie, but hey! Propaganda.)

Bearded Idiot is the right type of Hawke?
Not a chance, sir! Not a chance!

uh..big badass? I'm a female mage and it's the same Male-looking dude with a sword in full plate armor.

it's stupid. fact.

but yes I thought it was my Hawke in my first play also.  As he was sword/shield and was wearing that armor.

then I play my female mage and..it's the same damn statue.

again..stupid as ****.

Think about this for a second everyone, why would they place a statue of the great Champion on the smelly old docks?
You'd think they'd put it in Hightown or something. That's just a generic "humans rule!" statue to give the peasants something to aspire to.

No no no beards are perfectly fine. Duncan's beard for example is a fine, fine beard.
I just call posterboy Hawke Bearded Idiot because I have a violent dislike of posterboys, and I mock/ridicule them whenever possible.
Why? I'm a terrible, evil person, that's why. Plus I like stealing names from popular (internet) culture for my own nefarious purposes.

A pleasant coincidence indeed.

I honestly stared at the Qunari head more than I did anything else. But yes, I noticed the incorrect statue.

Fair enough. I prefer no Champion statue over the ridiculously incorrect one.

I was disappointed that i couldn't 'interact' with the statue for a cutscene between the companions or just Hawke saying something about it in a speech bubble, cuz i did wonder about it.
