From what I understand, you can't, but you can flirt with her and have it go over her head (and if you do it enough, she apparently gives you a kiss?).

Actually you get the kiss either way by picking the sarcastic option at the end of her act 2 quest chain.

Sadly, you cannot.

So basically, if the character is interesting, cool, awesome, incredibly well acted, and loved by 75% of the people, you can't touch them.

So if I am playing a Heterosexual male I am stuck with the "pirate ****" OR the blood mage who acts more like a child then a grown women….. Aveline is the ONLY companion (besides the dwarf)  I care for.

Not even Samara actually wants you, she just can't have you. Avaline is impervious to all your flirting. Simply just as if you never said it XD

Aveline was the only companion I wanted to romance. Very disappointed by how the story played out.

Dark haired ones are always a safe bet. Blondes just kind of scream "surprise, suckah".
