I was checking my online profile, and it says my character is only level 4, which hasn't been true for like 8 days or so, despite it taking only about an hour. What's wrong? I have the "Upload Character" button checked. What else do I need to do?

For me my character's level and full-body image are continuously updated, but the profile is still listing my Act 1 equipment when I've gotten to Act 3.

not mine. It hasn't updated for over a week. Am I doing something wrong, or what?

My online profile hasn't even been activated, even though I have clicked the "Activate online profile" a million times

it will activate eventually (maybe). I also had that same problem, but I think it fixed itself on it's own. Now it just refuses to update.
It might be connected to a save, and I can't change the save it's connected to. Or, less likely, since it didn't update before I found the exploit, I abused the Maker's Sigh potions. Again, that's not likely, because it's just showing my mage, and I have both a mage and a rogue, and it's just showing my mage in arriving at Kirkwall

I think clicking the link twice will deactivate the online profile again. Seemed that way to me when I first got the game.

but will it ever update my character? I was hoping for a dev/mod post to tell me I'm doing something wrong, but that hasn't happened.

I'd try waiting a day or so, and if it hasn't updated I'd click the "Activate Online Profile" once, and then wait another day or so. And make sure to play the game while logged in during so that new data is uploaded.
Also, make sure that the game's online settings are set to upload character data.

If you used any of the dev console commands to alter your character, or set any plot flags, you get flagged as a "cheater" and the website will stop updating your character *forever*
To get updates working again, you need to start new game (if u were branded a cheater)
If you aren't marked a cheater, then you should seek support. Often the site can take hours or days to update.
If you do decide to "cheat" don't use the console. Use a trainer, or use GFF 4.0 to edit your saves this won't trigger the cheater flag.
Also, from what I can see, once u are marked a cheater in this game, it will update new characters, but often will refuse any further/future trophies/achievement showing on your profile.
You can verify if u are marked a cheater by using GFF 4.0 and expanding the savegameversion section. If there's a 1 for save_game_cheatused, you have been branded... and no.. setting it back to 0 doesn't work as the website konws that's an "cheated" playthrough

TallBearNC - does that include using mods? Just asking because my Origins profile hasn't updated for ages (neither the character I used a while back but lost the saves due to HDD failure, or the character I am currently playing to import to my next game of DA2), and I use mods in my game so wondered whether that was a reason.
