Did the Grey Warden ever have more than a few thousand HP?

If the Champion is a Rogue, then...

it might go something like THIS

The Warden had a threeway with Hawke's girlfriend (Isabela) and Leliana.

Conclusion: The Warden's Pimp Hand is much stronger.

The Warden killed the archdemon the Champion killed the Arishok.

The Warden is obviously more badass.

The band in DAO seemed stronger. The warden has a qunari- Sten, Shale, Oghren, Morrigan..... The tough guys behind Hawke are probably only Aveline.

If it was the entire party, no question Hawke would destroy them with CCC combos.

Warden would own. Can you imagine?

Hawke: "I'm the Champion of Kirkwall! I saved the city!"

Warden: "Err..nice kid. I killed an arch demon, saved a kingdom, stopped the Blight and fathered a god baby along the way..."

Hawke: ".....I'll just go back to my city now..."*shuffles off, head hung low*

OR...

Fem Hawke: "I am the Champion of Kirkwall! I saved a City!"

Warden: "Yeah that's awesome baby...I killed an Arch demon, stopped the Blight and saved a kingdom...what say you and me hit up the tavern over there and I show you how I made a god baby...."

Fem Hawke:"...well.....ok" *smiles and follows him*

my warden can practically solo da:a through witch hunt on nightmare. it takes about 2 hits for mage hawke to die on nightmare and solo-ing even on casual is impossible by act 2.

did anyone duel the arishok? my mage hawke was getting destroyed.. had to lower down to casual and use almost all my heath and lyrium potions

The Hero of Ferelden could pretty much wipe out an entire DA2 party. DA:O talents and spells are just way more powerful than DA2.  Hawke's Ferelden cousin is the most powerful mage in all of Thedas. Hawke wouldn't stand a chance with a full party, much less alone. Blood wound the whole group, throw in an AOE, maybe a mass paralyse for good measure, then finish the AOE **** storm. Stand back a watch.

Plus the Warden knows the secret art of Potion-Fu.

Haven't fought her yet, but Meredith looks a lot tougher than the Archdemon TBH.

The Ancient Rock Wraith was certainly much stronger than the Archdemon.

But you are right about the Potion-Fu - DW Rogue Hawke would have to assassinate the Warden in one blow or he will never die because of the hundreds of cheap potions the Warden carries around.

You got it sort of right. Hawke saved the city from the Qunari, then threw all Thedas into chaos as all the Circle of Magi's rebelled. So you can't really compare the two.

So while our Warden only played a role that only affected Fereldan. Our Champion played a role that trigger events that affect whole of Thedas, including Fereldan.

You don't think a Blight threatens ALL of Thedas?

It seems the Blight did not reach the Free Marches, only Ferelden, but that was thanks to the Grey Warden's efforts.

The goal of the mages were to obtain freedom, the goal of the darkspawn was to destroy Fereldan and spread the blight to all of Thedas.

After DA2 the world is in pretty bad shape I'd admit, but the blight was and will always be the greater threat.
